Starting from the electrolysis of alkali-metal chlorides, a complex feedstock interconnection system has been established in the Chemical Park between the companies AkzoNobel, Evonik, Heraeus and Linde.

Pipelines for the transportation of technical gases connect the chemical sites Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Leuna and Schkopau.
